About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

1hr 30 min stopover

Hi Guys

I will be flying to Tokyo Via Beijing with Air China (return ticket). As i will only be in china for 1hr30m i wont require a visa as i am a British National but will i...

1) Need to fill out any forms on the plane to hand to immigration when passing through
2) Will i need to collect my luggage and then check in to my other flight to Tokyo?

The ticket is booked as a non stop flight via Air China - I have not booked each leg separately so i am assuming i will just be able to go to the gate for my connecting flight after clearing immigration right?

1. You have to fill out the arrival and departure card
2. They´ll check through your luggage from the UK to Tokyo.

You don´t have to clear immigration.
On the left hand side of the immigration there´s the international transfer desk.
Just pass through, show your passport and boarding pass and you can go straight to your departure gate.
