About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will have 36-hour transit in Beijing, flying to Auckland (NZ). Do I need a visa?

If not, can I leave the airport and visit the city? thanks, Ania

Ania, if the last country you fly from is different from New Zealand, you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing. You can leave the airport and visit the city.
