About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

hi, my parents are coming to shanghai for 5 days then to hong kong.

they require no visa normally for hong kong, just wondering if they meet the requirement for the 144hour free transit

If you parents fly from NZ to Shanghai and then to HK, then meet the requirements for the 144-hour free transit.
