About:Beijing - Guangzhou High Speed Train

best travel options for guangzhou to beijing

Hi, I am looking to travel from GZ to BJ (return), is it cheaper to do it by rail or flight? is the train safe for long hours? I heard there are pickpockets and it would be difficult to rest well due to the long hours.

Usually go by rail would be a little cheaper but if the flight ticket offer a very good prce, they can be almost the same. You can check that. I used to read about the pickpockets online but I think it may happens more in hard seat carriage as it is crowded. A sleeper cabin should be better especially soft sleeper cabin since you can lock the door in the night. But surely it is better to take the valuable things with you instead of the luggage rack.
