permanent residency visa

Question

Hi there, I am British Born, Under the permanent residency clause there is Outstanding aliens - Urgently needed in China, I am an English teaching having been in China for more than a year. I am looking for apply for the permanent residency, Would it be possible to apply from within China, or would I have to leave to apply?

Connor, I’m afraid it’s impossible for you to apply for permanent residence permit now. If you are qualified, you can apply for it within PRC.
