Dragon's Backbone Rice terraces as a day trip from Guilin

Is it possible to visit the Dragon's Backbone Rice terraces as a day trip from Guilin. I understand that we can take the hotel's buses directly there (around 3h?) Are these buses coming back at the end of the day? Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to visit the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces in a day. You can take the through bus from GL to Longsheng directly and the ride takes about 3 hours. The last bus going back to GL departs at around 15:30 in the afternoon. You may call the hotel for exact picking up time and location if needed.
