About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

would I need a Visa to do that

I am travelling to HK through Xiamen China
I will stay 2 days in HK then I would like to visit Shanghai and Hangzhou for 5 days back to HK then homeThanks a lot Marco

Marco, if you fly to Xiamen from UK and then fly to HK, and your stay in Xiamen is less than 72 hours, you can use the 72 hour free transit there, and then no entry permit is needed.
For your entry to Shanghai, I’m afraid you need to apply for a tourist L type beforehand.
Or if you fly to Macau after staying in Shanghai, and then go to HK from Macau, in this case, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. No entry permit is needed then.
