About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Uk - Beijing for 5 days - Japan. That’s ok. Return to Beijing for 3 days then back to UK.

I’m pretty sure return is also covered but confirmation would be appreciated

Of course, this is fine. Please, just have in mind that your flights UK - Beijing and Beijing - UK should not have any additional landing within mainland China.
