HI I am in Zurich for a summer school, and I am a UK citizen. I need to travel to Shanghai for a trip on a tourist visa, which will only be a 5 day trip. Can I apply for the visa in Zurich? If so what do I need for the application? I need this visa before end of day Wednesday.Avtar

Avtatr, you can apply for it from there. You need to provide your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, hotel reservation and flight itinerary. When you submit the application, you can say that you want to choose the rush service and it may allow you to get it quickly.
