About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Sequential Visa

Are you allowed to use 2 sequential Free transits?
For example: Fly into Guangzhou, stay for 72 hours then fly to Shanghai, stay for 144 hours, then fly out of China.

Well, this is not allowed. If you want to use both, you need to fly out to a different country from Guangzhou and then fly in to Shanghai. Actually, if you have a Singaporean passport, you can enter freely for a stay not exceeding 15 days.

Do Macau, Hong Kong or Taiwan qualify as different countries? As a layover before Shanghai.

When speaking of the free transit policy, Macau, HK and Taiwan are regarded as a third region.
