About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I am a US citizen traveling to Beijing for less than 72 hours.

I fly from Bangkok to Macau, where I layover for ~40 minutes before flying to Beijing. Less than 72 hours later I fly directly back to Bangkok. Does the fact that I travel through Macau on the way over qualify me for a 72 hour free transit visa?

Justin, if you travel like that, you qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.
