Hi, how to visit Simatai Great Wall from Beijing City?

Go to Dongzhimen Transport Hub to take bus no. 980 and get off at Miyun Bus Station. There you can transfer to bus no. Mi 37 or Mi 50 to Simatai Village. After that, you can walk to the water town and the wall.

At local Tour Dispatch Center (Qianmen), a direct bus is scheduled to Gubei Water Town. It leaves at 08:30 and gets back at 15:30. Make full use of the time to visit the wall.

Hi can I know where to book the Tour Dispatch Center, which leaves at 08:30 at Qianmen and leads to the wall/water town directly? And is it a tour or just a bus service from downtown?

Since their website doesn't have English version, it is suggested you go to the dispatch center and make the reservation by yourself. Or, you may call at 010-83531111 to consult.

It is like a one-day group tour and the admission fee for the water town and the round-trip bus fare are included in the price. You should pay to visit the Wall.
