Orad, as the number of mainland travelers to HK decreases, it may not be very crowded. So I think you can travel there.

Also, another question:
I want to get to Yangshu or Guilin after visiting Hong Kong, trying to find cheapest and fastest way.
I saw that there is a fast train (3 hours) from Shenzhen to Guilin North.
Does it make sense to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen and than take the train to Guilin?

Yes, you can take a train, a bus or a ship from HK to Shenzhen. Then take the bullet train from Shenzhen North to Guilin North. If you are not short of time, you can also take a normal train from Shenzhen Railway Station to Guilin North, but this train ride takes about 13 hours.
