About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

"renewing" 144 hour visa free transit?

Hello,
How frequently can one do the 144 free transit? That is, could I go to a third country for a few days, then return for another few days in Shanghai? Does Hong Kong count as a third country?
thanks!

Kier, as long as you meet the requirements, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit.
HK is regarded as a third region when it comes to the free transit policy. You need to make sure that the country you fly from is different from the country you fly to.
