About:China Work Visa

Chinese Z-Visa

Hi,I would like to work as a teacher in China. I have finished M.A English in July,2016...haven't got certificate in hand. I am not a native speaker. What are the needs to work as a teacher in China? Do I need to make Chinese Z-type to work in China or will they invite me with Chinese Z-type? Some works deny me because I have no TESOL or TEFL certificates in hands. Is Chinese Z-type for long living and working in China?

Wint, because you are not a native speaker, you need to provide education certificate issued by a university from a English-speaking country. Besides, you also should have 2-year work experience.
If you find a school to employ you, the school will get you the relevant documents. And then you need to apply for the work Z type on your own.
Usually, after you get the work Z type and enter PRC, you are able to apply for a temporary residence permit which can allow you to stay in PRC for a year, and you can extend the residence permit if you will work in PRC for a long time.
