About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Transit in Guangzhou, from there on another ticket flight.

I have international flight to the city on first ticket. Then I need to wait at the aiport almost 16 hours and the next flight I have on another ticket also international. How to get to the departure hall after arriving?

Well, will you leave the transit area or just wait in there? If not getting out of the airport, after finishing the transfer procedure, inspection and security, you can follow the clear signs to international departure hall to wait for ur flight. If you plan to leave the airport, check out first. When catching your flight, you need to check in again and pass the immigration and take the inspection and security check. After that, get into departure hall for the onward flight.

If I have a second ticket I need to take my suitcases and check in again, okay I got it, but after arriving in Gz where can I pick up my suitcases? Shouldn't I go to the transfer area? Or from there I can take my suitcases and there check in for the next flight? I don't wanna leave the airport.

You can claim your luggage on 1F, East-III Bridge, Arrival Area A. You needn't go to the transfer area. You can check in for the next flight at the International Departure Hall on 3F. ;)
