I am from Guatemala and have to attend an Anesthesia meeting at Hong Kong. My flight itinerary is los angeles, beijing, Hong Kong. Do I need a transit permit to get to Hong Kong?

Erick, if you stop in Beijing for less than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. No entry permit for Beijing is needed then.Guatemala passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not exceeding 30 days, so you don’t need a transit permit for HK.
