Peak travel times during the year

Hi,thanks for good info. Could you tell me what are the peak travel times are during the year in shanghai and china in general.

The peak travel times should be similar throughout the whole country.Generally, the summer vacation from July to August and the National Day Holiday during Oct. 1 to Oct. 7 are the most popular period for traveling. During the Spring Festival, all transportations will be crowded. It is not the high travel/tourist season, but people in different areas will go home then.
