Quick business trip to Shanghai

I am and Australian citizen based in Melbourne. What type of visa do I need for a one/two day trip to Shanghai this weekend? And how quickly can I get that?

Thanks
Khalil

Khalil, for your benefit, I strongly advise you to take advantage of the 144-hour free transit policy in Shanghai. You can fly from Melbourne to Shanghai and then leave for another country or region so that you are eligible. In this case, no entry permit is needed. If you insist on applying for an entry permit, you should get an M type. And the quickest application process takes two working days.
