About:Mount Qingcheng

Transportation to Qingchengshan

It appears the bullet train is more expensive, but also slower than the train from Xipu station? Are there really only 3 trains a day from Chengdu main station? How long does bus 101 take from Qingchengshan station, and how often does it run? I would like to visit Qingshengchan for one day from Chengdu; it appears I should take the 6:48 train and return on the 22:18 train. Would it be possible to get tickets for these trains on the day of travel? Thank you!

U are correct about the train from Xipu, which is closer to the mountain tahn Chengdu city, hence faster and cheaper. In fact, the first train leaving Chengdu passes Xipu and it arrives in Qingchengshan the same time. After getting there, change to no. 101 to the scenic area (front mountain) within 15-20min, and I just know it is frequently scheduled. A round trip in a day as you planned is possible.

At last, I wanna remind you that at the front mountain, you can see many Taoist temples and know their culture or something, while the rear mountain mainly presents the gorgeous scenery.

Have fun!
