About:

travel from Beijing to Tianjin Port

in October. want to travel on a monday from BJ (staying in Hutong district) to Tianjin (port). How far from Bus station in Tianjin, to the port...... and best way to get to cruise ship we are due to meet.

You can take a bus to Tianjin from Zhaogongkou Long-distance Bus Station. The buses are available from 7:30 to 18:00, and the fare is CNY 40. The trip takes about 2 hours. The buses reach Tianhuan Bus Station, about 45 miles (72km) from port. You are advised to take a taxi for about CNY 180-200.

Or, you can take a bullet train to Tianjin Railway Station from BJ South Railway Station (about 35 to 40 minutes). Upon arrival, take metro line 9 to Donghai Road Station. Then, take a taxi to the port for about CNY 40-50.
