Is it easy to buy metro tickets in Beijing?

Once disembarking from the Dongzhimen Station to take metro line 2 then 5, where do I purchase the ticket? Is it expensive?

Sure! The card is available at Customer Service Centers, metro stations, CITIC bankds, etc. You can buy it at the Ticketing Window of Dongzhimen Metro Station upon arrival. You need to pay CNY 20 as the deposit, and add some value to it.
