About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

Hi, party of 2 adults, 1 child and a baby will be in Hong Kong from 3-10 Sept.

We are staying at Causeway Bay and will move to Disneyland Hotel from 3-10 Sept. We are planning to go to the tourist areas. What would you recommend about the transportation card?

You are advised to buy Standard Octopus Cards, which are applicable on Airport Express, MTR, Light Rail, buses, trams, taxis, ferries,etc. The cards are available at MTR Customer Service Centers, Light Rail Customer Service Centers, etc.

Each adult pays HKD 50 as the refundable deposit, and HKD 100 as the stored value. Each child aged 3 to 11 pays HKD 50 as the refundable deposit, and HKD 20 as the stored value. Children younger than 3 can ride free. Take care of your children and have a wonderful trip!
