About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 HOURS AND 5 MINS

United Kingdom Citizen to China Stopover
I am stopping over on my flight for a holiday at Beijing for 3 days landing on Thursday 11.50am and leaving to my next destination on Sunday 11.55am.

That is 3 days and 5 mins so 24hr+24hr+24hr+5min.
Am I allowed to stay for 72 Hours 5 mins????

I also thought it suppose to start at 0.01 on Thursday so technically I need to leave by 23.59 Saturday?? or is it 23.59 Sunday??

Ste, you are allowed to make use of the 72 hour free transit in Beijing because the 72 hours start from 00:00 the day following your entry and it means that you can stay in Beijing for more than 72 hours. You need to leave by 23:59 on Sunday.
