About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, here is my itinerary

YYZ to TPE;
TPE to PVG;
PVG to YYZ (layover in TPE)

Should I get a visa with my layover being TPE?

JJ, you mean you have a layover in TPE when you fly to YYZ from PVG? If yes, you cannot enjoy the free transit in Shanghai. You need to apply for a tourist L type beforehand for your trip.
