Arrive in HK and need day trip to Guangzhou

Hi. I arrive in HK and want to travel to the markets in Guangzhou for one day. Do I need a Visa for this? Can I take advantage of the 72 hour waiver?

Matt, if you will go to a third country or region rather than HK after staying for one day in Guangzhou, you can make use of the 24 hour direct transit there, and then no visa is needed. If you will go back to HK, you should apply for a visa beforehand.
