i'm going to travel to beijing with my family so in total we are 5 people .

Question

can we buy only one smart card and use it fo the whole group or do we have to buy smartcard per person? what is the bestmode o transport for a gruoup by subway, bus, rickshaw.... to comute from hotel to the touristic places?Thanks

Oh, you have to hold the smart card per person. It is not allowed to share. The mentioned means of transportation are all good choices for touring around (choose the most convenient way according to your demands). I suggest you make full use of them. The smart card can be used on subway and bus. Rickshaw is highly recommended for the sightseeing in Hutongs: cash is needed and the fare varies.
