Previous Visa Issued date, in old (lost) passport

Hi, I have travelled to China before and have been issued an entry permit, but it was in my last passport and I no longer have it. One of the questions on the application is when were you last issued an entry permit, can I just leave this blank? Or is there a way to find out when I was last issued the entry permit?

Dear, the information about your previous entry permit is needed just for a reference, so you can just provide a probable date, but it cannot be left blank.
