About:Beijing Transportation Smart Card

Hi, I am staying at Sunworld Hotel, Wangfujing, Beijing. And i would like to visit the Great Wall.

What amount should i top up in the metro card?

Are you going to Badaling Great Wall? If yes, walk east for about 500 yards to Dengshikou Metro Station. Next, take metro line 5 to Yonghegong Lama Temple Station, and change to metro line 2 to Xizhimen Station, Exit A2. The metro fare totals CNY 4. Then, take S2 train to Badaling for CNY 6. You can follow the same route for the return trip.

In this way, the transportation fee totals CNY 20 for a round trip. If you will go to other places as well, you may top up around CNY 50 in the card. Good luck! :)
