About:Guangzhou Metro

I have about 5 to 6 hours of connection time at Baiyun Airport before my connection flight.

And wish to go downtown for some local food. Which station should I go and roughly whats the distance and fare like?

Dear John, the layover is quite limited. You are advised to stay inside the airport so as not to miss the flight. There are also many nice restaurants for you to taste the local food. For instance, you can go to Golden Dragon (Jin Long) Restaurant near Gate 17 and Gate 18, Departure Hall, 1F. The food they provide is quite delicious. Have a try!
