About:Chengdu Travel

Domestic to international transit at Shuangliu Airport

I will be flying from Lhasa to Tokyo via Chengdu on Sichuan Airlines. At the airport, is it necessary to collect my luggage and check it in again? The information on the airport website seems to suggest that this is the case.
