About:

72/144 hour visa waiver

I am arriving from London Heathrow airport to Shanghai Pudong airport on 6th October and leaving Shanghai international cruise terminal by 5pm on 7th October 2016, am I eligible for the 72/144 hour visa waiver scheme. If so how do i go about arranging one of these?

Yes, you are eligible for the 144-hour visa waiver scheme. You should inform the airline to report your intention to use this policy to Shanghai immigration before you arrive. Upon arrival at the airport, you need to take your passport and cruise ticket and follow the direction sign leading to the 144-hour visa-free transit passage. Then you can apply for it.
