chengdu - guilin high speed railway?

Question

I am going to be visiting both cities on a visit to China in July  2017. I know there is a high speed connection between Guilin and my next destination (Shenzhen), however, there is no high speed connection between Chengdu and Guilin. I have noted that there is a high speed line under costruction and was due to be completed by December 2014. Does anyone know if it has opened yet? If it hasn't, does anyone know when it will be opened? Thanks, Jack

There is no direct high speed line between, you may have a transfer in Wuhan. BUt see from the recent schedule, you would need to stay one night in wuhan for this transfer since the time did not connect well.
