Ferry from shanghai to shengshan, shengshan-shengsi, and back to the city.

Hello, we are 9 persons & plan to travel on august 13 to shengshan island in the morning. In the afternoon we would like to travel from shengshan island to shengshi island . On sunday back to the city.

Can you advice from which port we need to go, what the schedule is and where to book tickets in advance? Thank you very much for your kind help!

To Shengshan Island: take a bus to Putuo from South Bus Station. The buses are available from 6:55 to 19:29, and the trip takes about 4.5 hours. The fare is CNY 130-220. Upon arrival, take a ferry to the island from Shenjiamen Banshengdong Wharf. The ferry departs 8:00 every day.

After touring around, you can take a ferry to Shengsi Island from Shengshan. The ferry departs at 10:20 on odd-numbered days, and 9:20 on even-numbered days.

For the return trip, you can take a ferry to Shenjiamen from Shengsi Island. The ferries depart at 8:20, 9:15, 9:30, 13:00, 14:50 and 15:20. Then, take a bus back to Shanghai. You can buy the ticket on the spot upon arrival, Don't worry! :)
