About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

We are flying from the UK via Dubai to Shanghai.

We are only staying 72 hours and then leaving Shanghai port on a cruise ship and will not be returning to China. Do we qualify for the Visa waiver?

Martin, if you will not go to Dubai, but to a third country after leaving Shanghai, you can enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai.
