About:China Train

China East to West.

Hello. We are currently living in Shanghai and hoping to do a full East to West rail journey all the way to Kashgar. We'd like to stop in cities along the way. Is it better to book all the way in advanced or purchase as we go? Is there a recommended route?

It is hard to say and depends on the route and dates. You may fix the cities for stop first and check the ticket availability for each trips by your detailed date and decide it based on the availbility.
