About:Chinese Embassy in Lithuania

Hello there. My name is Justina and I am a holder of Lithuanian passport

but currently living in UK. I am going to visit CHINA as a tourist. This is my brief itinerary: 23rd JAN - 26TH JAN - HONG KONG, 26TH JAN - 29TH JAN - BEIJING. Departing Beijing on 30th JAN at 2am at night - flying to JFK. I know there is 72h transit period but technically I will in Beijing just over 72h. Do I need VISA? Thanks, Justina

Justina, as you said, your layover in Beijing is more than 72 hours, I’m afraid you cannot enjoy the free transit. You should apply for a transit G type or tourist L type ahead of time.
