In Canada, when we refer to each other we generally only use our given name... Like Joe Smith is referred to as Joe... Why not ask her what she is most comfortable being addressed as?

call someone with a full name isn't an issue in China. if just colleagues, can call her what the others do; if friends, or want to be more friendly, can ask her what would she like to be called.
