About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Visa for Girlfriend

I am a foreigner currently working in Shenzhen. I just relocated my son here in SZ as my wife died last year. My son will go to an international school starting this August. To take care of my son, I wanted to bring my girlfriend to Shenzhen. What type can I get her to allow her to stay with us in Shenzhen?

Ferdie, you can only apply for a tourist L type for your girlfriend to enter PRC because you two don’t get married. But the L type doesn’t allow her to stay longer in PRC.
If possible, you two can get married and then you can apply for an S1 type for her and then she can enter PRC and stay with you in Shenzhen.
