About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does it matter if i use different airlines?

US citizen flying form the US to Shanghai on American airlines and leaving 48 hrs later after visiting the city on a flight to Vietnam on Vietnam airlines with confirmed visa or vietnam . Does it matter that they are different airlines?........also in my way back I am flying form Thailand to shanghai on China airlines and leaving china through the same airport 12 hrs later with American Airlines....do you see any problems?

Jose, it doesn’t matter if they are different airlines, you can enjoy the free transit in Shanghai for both legs of your trip.
