san fransisco pvg(pu dong) sha(hongqiao) kmg (kunming) ktm (kathmandu)

Question

For this trip, when I land in Pu Dong I will have to get myself to Hongqiao within 5 hrs and then land in China again for a 12 hr layover before departing for Kathmandu.  What sort of VISA do I need?Thanks

Drew, because your total layover in PRC is less than 24 hours, you are able to use the 24 hour direct transit. No entry permit is needed then. Nice trip.
