About:Beijing Long-Distance Bus

What's the fastest way to travel between Beijing to Zhangjiajie but not with plane?

Take a high speed train to Changsha South from West Railway Station (about 5.5 to 7 hours). Upon arrival, take a bus to Zhangjiajie (about 4 hours). The buses depart at 11:40, 13:00, 14:10, 15:20, and 16:40, and the fare is CNY 135.

Thanks much ... this was very helpful because when I searched online the fastest way was to take a direct train however it said that the ride would take as much as 23 hours but if I did as u suggested this should take max 12 hours .... thx much again
