Multicity Flight to Beijing

I will be using the multi city option to travel from Houston, Texas to Seoul, South Korea then from Seoul to Beijing then back to Houston. I will only be staying in Beijing for less than 3 days but my flight back to Houston has a short layover back in Seoul. Do I still qualify for the 72 hour visa free transit?
