About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Type and length of visa

I am married to a Chinese national and wish to go back to PRC with her for a visit and travel. We may want to return to PRC many times over the next several years. You offer only a max of 1 year entry permit, however I have seen applications for multi entry permit good for 10 years.
What type do I need and how do I get an entry permit good for 10 years?

Cary, you can apply for a Q2 type multiple-entry permit that is good for 10 years. First, please prepare the required documents, including your passport which is valid for at least one year, a copy of your passport, a filled-out application form attached with recently-taken photo, your marriage certificate, and your spouse's ID card and an invitation letter. Then go to the consular office to submit the application.
