About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Fly in leave by boat same day?

We will be flying into Beijing and then being transfered by coach from airport to Tianjin port to start a cruise. Will we need a visa?

Nigel, how long is your total layover in Beijing and Tianjin? If it's no more than 24 hours, you are possible to use the 24-hour free transit policy. If the time is longer, you need to apply for a G type entry permit in advance. You are advised to double check this with your cruise company.

We arrive at beijing around 0700 and leave that evening from tianjin around 1600. Well ring the consulate tommorrow.
