About:China Visa Exemption

Cruise ship stopping in Shanghai

Our cruise ship is travelling from Japan to Singapore and stopping for one day in Shanghai. Do we need visa to leave ship in port?

Georgina, you qualify for the 144-hour free transit policy in Shanghai, so I think you do not need it, but the cruise ship company may require it.
