About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

we are picking up a cruise ship in Beijing. We will cruise and eventually fly back to Tampa (US)

WE will enter Beijing 8:00PM. We will stay at a hotel and by ship at 6:00PM the following day. Do we have to have a visa?

Robert, if you will go to a third country or region instead of the last one you came from after staying in Beijing, you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. No entry permit is needed then.
