About:Chinese Consulate in San Francisco

I live in Atlanta and will be visiting San Francisco.

Can I apply for Chinese visa in San Francisco? How long does it take to process the application? Do I have to personally pick up the visa? Can my relative pick up the visa for me?

Nilesh, I’m afraid you should apply for it at the consulate general in Huston because the area you live belongs to its consular district. It usually takes 4 working days for the process.
You can pick it up by yourself or entrust your friend to get it for you.
