About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

Malaysian passport holder with U.S. green card,What type of Chinese visa do I need?

I bought a ticket from San Francisco to Tokyo from China Eastern with an 18-hour transit in Shanghai. Now I've decided to stay in Shanghai for less than 24 hours then buy a separate ticket to fly to Kuala Lumpur instead of transiting to Tokyo. Thanks.

Patricia, if so, you can make use of the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai and no entry permit is needed then. Have a nice trip!
