About:Beijing Long-Distance Bus

We need to get from Luoyang to Chengde on Wednesday 7th September.

We will be taking a fast train from Luoyang in the morning which arrives in Beijing West either at 13.02 or at 15.33. We then plan to proceed to Chengde by bus. In this connection we would like to ask:
a. Which bus station do we need to go to in BJ? As we will have luggage, we would prefer to get the bus from the terminus - also to have the time to find the right bus.
b. Is there a timetable when buses leave between 14.00 and 18.00? If not, how regular will they be?
c. How long does the journey take?
d. Is it possible to buy tickets in advance online? If not, what are the chances of getting a ticket on turning up at the bus station before the departure of the bus?

a. You need to go to Liuliqiao Bus Station. Take metro line 9 from West Railway Station to Liuliqiao Station, Exit C, and you can see it. The metro ride takes about 5 minutes, and the fare is CNY 3. Then, take a bus to Chengde.
b. The buses depart at 14:00, 14:15, 14:30, 14:45, 15:00, 15:20, 15:40, 16:00, 16:20, 16:40, 17:00, 17:20,17:40, and 18:00.
c. The journey takes about 3.5 hours. By the way, the fare is CNY 85 per person.
d. I am sorry that the online booking system only has Chinese versions. Just buy the tickets on the spot upon arrival. You can easily get tickets there. Don't worry! May you have a nice trip! :)
